BK Munn, owner of Sweet and Royal Cat Records (both in Guelph), is a comic aficionado who has been a consistent and trusty supporter and contributor to Tales of a Guelphite. Thank you! Looking forward to having him on board once again this year.
In 2019 Fenylalanine Publishing created and launched three comics:
Tales of a Guelphite #2 with a wonderful cover by Jay Stephens
Tales of a Guelph Hallowe’en #1 (cover by David J. Knight)
The Head (with Caleb Rollingson-Martindale) #1 (cover by David J. Knight)
These are still available at The Dragon (Guelph/Milton)
2020 was a year that changed all our ideas of “normal”
In the midst of the pandemic it became questionable whether to produce and publish the next instalments of Tales of a Guelphite (#3) and The Head (#2).
In hindsight (which, oddly enough, is referred to as 20-20), it now appears it was a good idea to get those two comics published. The main vendors, The Dragon (Guelph/Milton) and Sunrise Books (Guelph), have had a most challenging time these past months, and we would like to thank them for their support and endurance under impossible conditions. These comics can still be acquired through these wonderful stores. Thank you to our readership for your constant interest.
Stay safe and well.
This Saturday and Sunday (September 14 and 15), at the Guelph Comics Jam ! Excited!
Fenylalanine Publishing is launching two new comics:
Tales of a Guelphite #2 with a fabulous cover and inside story by Jay Stephens! A poem by Bieke Stengos, an article by BK Munn, at story by Caleb Rollingson-Martindale and Luke Anderson, a beautiful piece of art by Monica Waugh, and much else by me, Humphrey Primp and Johanna A. Fromond.
Thank you to the Dragon, downtown Guelph
See you all there !!!
